It’s Friday so that means Housemade Foods are ready! Today we have Beet Salad with Hazelnuts, mixed local greens with Lemon Vinaigrette. Creamy Squash and Carrot Pasta on Ferranti Radiatori and lastly Tuna and Potato Salad or commonly known as Spanish Tuna Ensalada Rusa usually served in Tapas. Happy Friday! Did you all forget I carry bread? Lately I’ve been cutting my bread order by 50% because people are not buying. I get that the BFM is open, and it’s the new spring thing right now, but that makes my job extremely difficult to gauge how much to order. Consistency is key! Keep my bread orders coming so I’ll always have bread when you come in. Support this local shop all year so that I support all your farmers, ranchers, artists and makers everyday! Word is getting out about our Housemade foods. Often I don’t post about it cuz by the time I make it, package it, take a picture to post, it’s often gone before the posting happens. Like this dish this week. Polenta, Roasted Root Veg, Halloumi, Tarragon Herb Oil and Arugula Flowers. It’s amazing and uses so many great local farms and seasonal ingredients. I only have 2 left! Soooo…we also have fresh pasta in from local producer @ferrantifreshpastallc Dairy or dairy-free? You can decide when you’re here. Both in stock and made locally! Loving the new design on the Ballard Cheese labels. Fun! Have you been to Lark&Larder lately? We have so many new Spring items in that are original, handmade and are locally made! Lots of Housemade Foods in the case. Soup!! Chicken/French Green Lentil/Veg with/without noodles. Baked Pasta with Ricotta/Mozzarella, mini batch Mac&Cheese, and a few more fruit crisps. It’s gonna be a little rainy and cooler this weekend so comfort foods in order. What’s fresh today? Housemade Fruit Crisps out of the oven and Ferranti Raviolis stocked this morning!
