Did you grab your Acme breads? Lots of varieties in stock for Easter. Remember we are closed tomorrow so grab them today! Easter is Sunday! Ready for the weekend? Fresh baked Butternut/Carrot Strata and Breakfast GF Potatoes will be available. Plus special BFM Acme market breads will be here on Saturday and spring greens are in from Purple Sage. We will be CLOSED on Sunday so make sure to shop earlier. Pulled these out of the oven this morning! Triple fruit Peach/Cherry/Apple and Pecan Fruit Crisps. Well stocked with Acme breads for sandwich musings too. Mac&Cheese baby! I seem to always sell out of this housemade dish when I make it. So I made a ton this week and it’s ready today. I use Ferranti Cavatappi Pasta and 3 cheeses melted in a béchamel sauce. Yum!! Treefort Week! As an avid goer, that means I’m closing early on a few days towards the end of the week. Just remember I’ve got great snacks (fresh bread today) and lots of hydrating local drinks to keep you in tippy top shape for music shenanigans. Sometimes cooks have bad days. I was intent on making Lasagna this week for our housemade grab n’ go. The test at home came out beautifully. But scaling up for a large volume for the shop did not bode well. All my noodles stuck together. And while I was delicately trying to pull them apart, they ripped to shreds. So instead of tossing them (cuz I hate wasting food) I still made lasagna. After baking them I tried one of the minis and you know what? Tasted great! So if you don’t mind not perfect lasagnas they are discounted for my learning curve. Kale or Mushroom Lasagnas ready! And batch of Potato Salad in case you are picnicking in this lovely weather. Good morning! A variety of fresh breads in from Acme Bakeshop. Our housemade foods are Cherry Tortes, Roasted Beet Salad with Tangy Hazelnuts and Potato Salad. Many new items in the shop for gifting too. Stop in and say hi! Get weekend ready! I’ve been busy in the kitchen making LOTs of Potato Salad and Roasted Beet Salad with Tangy Hazelnuts and Romaine. In the fresh case ready for menu pairings. Organic of course! Seeds are in from Snake River Seed Cooperative! The warmer temps mean let’s start on cool weather crops like salad greens, peas and radishes. Others are safe to start indoors for when it’s a little warmer to transplant outside. Check out all the varieties.
